IBPS Clerk 2024 Notification (Out), 6128 Vacancy, Exam Date, Application Form

IBPS Clerk 2024: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) Clerk notification 2024 was released on July 1, 2024, to fill a total of 6128 vacancies. The IBPS has extended the last date to fill out the IBPS Clerk 2024 application form. The last date to apply has been extended to July 28, 2024. Any graduate candidate can fill out the application form.

For recruitment to clerical posts in public sector banks, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts the IBPS Clerk exam every year. For the financial year 2024-25, IBPS will conduct its 14th year of clerk examination, which will therefore be named IBPS Clerk CRP XIV. At two levels, the IBPS Clerk exam is written- Preliminary Exam and Mains. This means that students who have cleared all these exams are now eligible to apply as clerks.

IBPS Clerk 2024 Application Fee

The IBPS Clerk Online Application Form Fee is Rs. 850 for those who belong to the General, OBC and EWS categories as their application fee. Whereas, SCs, STs or PWDs will pay R. 175. Application can only be made via a mode of online payment for all applicants.

Eligibility Criteria For IBPS Clerk 2024

The Applicant must fulfil the following criteria to be eligible for the IBPS Clerk Exam 2024

A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2004.

IBPS Clerk 2024 Selection Process

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Clerk CRP XIV recruitment process is divided into two stages:

1. Preliminary Examination

2. Mains Examination

In a majority of the leading Public Sector Banks, aspirants must pass these two tests to be absorbed into the clerical cadre. However, it should be noted that there are no interviews following the main exam for choosing candidates. The mains exam result carries 100% marks.

IBPS Clerk 2024 Exam Pattern

The IBPS Clerk exam is conducted in two stages: Preliminary and Main. Both these papers follow the written online mode. The structure of the exam is as follows:

Phase-1: IBPS Clerk Preliminary Examination

The examinee is evaluated based on his/her aptitude, IQ and English in an online test for the initial exam of IBPS Clerk CRP XIV. The test is made up of three parts. Consequently, the test taker has to qualify in each of the three sections before they can move on to the main exam. In each section they take an equivalent of 20 minutes.

The duration allowed for each part is 20 minutes. Candidates are required to score a hundred marks for the test paper and the passing mark is determined by IBPS which is likely to change annually depending on the exam’s difficulty level.

Phase-2: IBPS Clerk Mains Examination

There have been no alterations in the examination configuration for IBPS Clerk exam 2024. A total of 190 questions will be present in the IBPS Clerk Mains exam, which should be done within 160 minutes

In the past, before the recent updates by IBPS, the CRS and CRP sections were separated. However, they are now combined and there will be a total of 50 questions from both to be answered within fifty minutes Extended Social Sciences Limits at both Prelims rendition as well as Finals’ edition examination for 13 regional languages including Hindi and English.
