IIT Madras has released the online application process for IIT JEE Advanced on its official website, the last application process for which is till 7th May 2024. The last date to pay the fee is 10th May 2024. It is very important for the candidates who are applying for JEE Advanced 2024 to know that the JEE Advanced exam will be held on 26th May. JEE Advanced 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:-
- To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2024, a candidate must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Science and Mathematics.
- For SC and ST candidates, 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry, Science and Mathematics with 65%.
- Candidates must have cleared one of the be/ btech papers of JEE Main 2024.
- This year, 2,50,284 candidates have cleared the JEE Main exam to appear for JEE Advanced.
Age Limit:-
- Applicants must have been born on or after October 1, 1999. In countries where a minimum period of service in the armed forces (or allied) is required prior to/following the Class XII (or equivalent) examination, the candidate will be granted a reduction in the required number of years.
Eligibility for Foreign/OCI/PIO candidates:–
- Foreign candidates and OCIs.PIO candidates must complete their education equivalent to 10+2 and are not required to take the JEE Main exam. Such candidates can apply directly for JEE Advanced. Furthermore, foreign, OCI, and PIO candidates must meet additional requirements.

- Payment by Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI: After clicking the “Pay Registration Fee” button, the system will display a number of payment gateway options. Candidates can choose any of the payment gateways and options that are most convenient for them, such as Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI. Following successful payment, the candidate will be able to print the “Registration Details” including the UNIQUE Registration number.
Complete method for filling out JEE Advanced Application Form 2024
Step 1: Fill in the JEE Advanced Registration Form.
- Candidates must first log into the JEE Advanced 2024 registration portal with their JEE Main login id and password. Upon successful login, all personal, academic, and contact information entered into the JEE Main 2024 application form will be displayed on the screen.
- Candidates will have the option of providing an additional phone number and email address. Students had to enter additional information for the JEE Advanced exam, such as their choice of examination cities (08 options), class XII (or equivalent) examination roll number, and much more.

- Candidates are required to create a password for future login. To create a password, follow the instructions below:
- The password should be 8 to 13 characters long and include one uppercase alphabet, one lowercase alphabet, one numeric value, and one special character, such as!@#$%^&*-
- Candidates are advised not to share their passwords with anyone. Candidates can change their password once they have logged in.
- Candidates should remember to log out at the end of their session to prevent unauthorised persons from tampering with or changing their information.
Step 2: Uploading documents:
In the next step, candidates must upload the documents specified by the relevant authorities. All documents must be uploaded in accordance with the specifications. These are the documents required for JEE Advanced registration.
Step 3: Pay the application fee
Pay the JEE Advanced 2024 application fee. Finally, to complete the JEE Advanced Registration 2024, candidates must pay the application fee either online or offline.
