Nursery Admission 2025-26 Delhi
The Delhi Directorate of Education has started the admission process for the academic session 2025-26 to provide EWS and disadvantaged class students an opportunity to get quality education in private schools. Like every year, this time also a special admission process is being organized for EWS and DG category students, in which the selection will be done through lottery system. Interested parents and students can fill the online application form from 3 February 2025. This admission process will be available for students from nursery to class 9, giving eligible students a chance to study in the prestigious private schools of Delhi.

EWS Admission 2025-26: Eligibility Criteria
To apply for Delhi EWS Admission 2025-26 , parents who want to send their child to unaided private schools in the national capital must meet the following criteria:
Age Limit :
The age eligibility criteria for the entry-level classes (pre-school / Nursery, Pre-primary / KG, and Primary / Class-1) under the EWS / DG category will remain the same as the previous year.

- Anyone residing in Delhi.

- The Delhi High Court revised the income limit to ₹2.5 lakh, but parents’ income must still be under ₹1 lakh.

- Original Date of Birth Certificate issued by the MCD or another local authority.
- School leaving certificate (SLC) from a recognised school.
- Anganwadi record.
- Hospital/Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife (ANM) register record.
- Undertaking by the parents regarding Date of Birth as per part B of the Application Form.
Proof of residence in Delhi (choose one) :
- Driving license of any parent.
BPL/Ration card issued in the name of any parent, including the child’s name. - Domicile Certificate of the child/any parent.

- Electricity/Water/MTNL bill in the name of any parent.
