Indian Army NCC 57th Batch Entry Requirement 2024: Age Limit
For National Cadet Corps (NCC) candidates (including wards of Battle Casualties) the Age limit required for applying in the Indian Army NCC 57th Special Entry Scheme 2024 is 19 to 25 years as on 01 Jan 2025 (born not earlier than 02 Jan 2000 and not later than 01 Jan 2006; both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification
- NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders Graduate with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and a Minimum of two academic years of service in the senior Division/Wing of NCC.
- Minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.
- Candidates in the final year must secure at least 50% aggregate marks in the degree’s first two/three years.
- Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel Degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks .
Indian Army NCC 57th Batch Entry Requirement 2024: Selection Procedure
- Shortlisting of applications is done by the Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence (Army) at their discretion and shortlisted applicants are informed via specified email addresses. Once the Selection Centre has been allotted, they are required to sign into the site then chose their SSBs according to availability doing so in order of appearance.
- The SSB will be undertaken in only a few of the eligible candidates, who will then be considered for the final selection at any four locations: Allahabad, Bhopal, Bangalore or Jalandhar. Only the specified Selection Centre will send candidates the requisite SSB interview letter through email or SMS. Selection Centre allotment is solely dependent on the Directorate General of Recruiting at Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence (Army), with no possibility for requests for alterations.
- The recruitment process entails two main stages. Those who pass the first stage will be moved to the second stage. However, those who do not pass the first stage will be sent back on the same day. The SSB interview takes five days, and aspirants can find more about it at the official web site of the Directorate General of Recruiting: www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. The second stage will be followed by a medical examination for the candidates who are successful.
- Those who the SSB recommends and are found eligible shall be issued with joining instructions on merit basis depending on the number of positions available provided that they have passed the medical examination.

Step 1: Visit the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on ‘Officer Entry Application/Login’ and then choose ‘Registration’ (skip if already registered).
Step 3: Carefully fill out the online registration form.
Step 4: After registration, go to the Dashboard and click on ‘Apply Online.’
Step 5: Select ‘Apply’ against the Short Service Commission NCC Special Entry Course.
Step 6: Open the ‘Application Form,’ read the instructions, and click ‘Continue’ to fill in details under various segments.
Step 7: Provide personal information, communication details, education details, and details of previous SSB.
Step 8: Remember to ‘Save & Continue’ before moving to the next segment.
Step 9: After the last segment, review and edit entries on the ‘Summary of your information’ page.
