UP CNET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should check the eligibility criteria below to apply for CNET Exam 2024.
- admission in CNET 2024, a candidate must have completed 10+2 standard or its equivalent with Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English as compulsory subjects from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks.
- For reserved category candidates, it is mandatory to have Physics, Chemistry Biology, and English in 10+2 with 40% marks.
- For admission to Government Medical College, the candidate must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
- The minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years and a maximum of 35 years as of 31 December 2024. There is an age relaxation of 5 years for reserved category candidates.
- The candidate should be medically fit. No candidate will be granted admission until he/she is declared medically fit by the Medical board appointed by the university.
UP CNET 2024 Application Fee
Candidates who want to apply for the UP B.Sc Nursing entrance exam in CNET 2024 have to pay a fee of Rs 3000 from General, OBC candidates. SC and ST candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 2000.

Step 2: Login and Fee Payment
- After successful registration, log into the application portal by clicking the “Register > Login > Pay > Fill Form” button for B.Sc. Nursing.
- To successfully log into the B.Sc. Nursing CNET 2024 applicant dashboard, enter your unique registration ID number and date of birth.
- After successfully logging in, click the “Pay Fee for B.Sc. Nursing” button to pay the required application fee online using a debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

UP CNET 2024 Counselling
Following the announcement of the CNET results, the conducting body will release the first merit list of aspirants who qualified for the test and had a common merit rank. Candidates must pay Rs.500 as the counselling registration fee and Rs.5000 (refundable if not allotted a seat) as the counselling security fee via the online mode. Students who fail to do so will be disregarded in the counselling process.
The candidate must pay a seat confirmation fee of Rs 40,000 via online or bank challan. This amount will be deducted from the tuition fee once the counselling process is completed.
Procedure for CNET 2024 Counselling and Seat Allocation
- Candidates must register for CNET 2024 counselling by paying a counselling registration fee of Rs.500 and a security fee of Rs.5000.
- The admissions committee will allocate seats from the candidate’s preferred institute based on the common merit rank and category rank.
- Check the allotted seat on the website and lock/confirm the allocation by paying Rs 40,000; it is not possible to change the choice in particular counselling once the seat has been locked.
- Seats will be allocated based on the rank in the first round of counselling. A candidate who is assigned a seat will be admitted provisionally; he or she must report to the selected institute for document verification. The seat will be cancelled if there is no valid document, an insufficient document, or a mismatch between documents.
- Once the documents have been verified, he or she will be offered provisional admission and must pay the remaining prescribed fee online within the time frame specified. If the candidate is unwilling or fails to pay the balance admission fee within a specified period as mentioned by the authority, seats will be marked as vacant, and the seat booking fee will be forfeited.
- After paying the admission fee, the candidate will be admitted.
A total of two rounds of counselling will be held to fill the seats, followed by an online/offline on-campus mop-up round. After round one of the counselling, the candidate will be eligible for a seat upgrade/reshuffle in round two. If a candidate reshuffles their current seat and receives an upgraded seat in round 2, his or her round 1 allotted seat will be automatically cancelled
